How July 4, 2025 Was in New York: the Best Moments from the Water

The 2025 display marked the show's 49th edition, featuring over 80,000 shells reaching heights of up to 1,000 feet and 30 colors, including new effects like crown jellyfish and atomic rings. Projection mapping on the Brooklyn Bridge displayed patriotic imagery, including cascading waterfalls and the American flag. The 25-minute show's music was produced by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and James Poyser, and hosted by Ariana DeBose.

Cruise decks offered views of the illuminated Empire State Building and One World Trade Center, with the skyline's reflection amplifying the display. Onboard, the evening combined patriotic décor, live music, gourmet dining and the golden-hour sunset before the fireworks began.
