- Is there a minimum number of guests required for a private charter?
- No, there is no minimum guest count. Our pricing is based on a yacht rental fee, with additional options for food, beverages, entertainment and other enhancements. Because the rental cost is spread across your group, the per-person price becomes more economical as the number of guests increases. For customised pricing, contact reservations@nycwatercruises.com.
- Can I request a specific route for a private charter?
- Yes, you can customise your cruise route for private charters. We will work with you to plan a route that highlights your preferred sights and experiences.
- Can I customize the menu for a private event?
- Yes, we offer customisable menu options for private charters. Please reach out to our event planning team to discuss your needs.
- Can you arrange a photographer for our charter?
- Yes. We can bring a professional photographer aboard for your event. The cost is quoted with the rest of your package, since it depends on how long you are out and how much of the event you want covered — mention it when you enquire and we will price it in. On our scheduled dinner cruises a photographer is a flat $350.
- Can I bring my own decorations?
- Yes. Please contact us in advance to discuss your plans — small decorations are typically allowed for an extra cost, and larger setups may require special arrangements. For private charters you are welcome to bring your own decorations; discuss your plans with our team in advance so everything is set up to your preferences.
- Can I celebrate a special occasion on board?
- Absolutely. We offer special packages for birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations — call us at 1-800-273-5124 or email reservations@nycwatercruises.com and tell us what you're marking.
