NYC Water Cruises Policies

Children:

Typically, passengers below the age of 4 can board for free. Contact us directly before booking so we can make the proper arrangements and ensure they are on the manifest.

Age and Health Restrictions:

Participants must meet standard health requirements. Depending on water levels, passengers may be required to walk a steep ramp that can exceed 45 degrees.

Pet Policy:

Only service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted on board.

Dress Code:

We kindly request that customers dress in upscale casual attire to enhance the elegant atmosphere of our event. However, we understand that comfort is important, especially with the summer heat, so exceptions are made based on weather conditions.

Liability and Insurance:

* NYC Water Cruises is not liable for personal items lost or damaged on board.
* Guests are liable for any damage they cause to the vessel or its furnishings.

Privacy Policy:

Customer information is collected only for booking and communication purposes and is protected under data privacy laws.

Food and Beverage:

Guests are welcome to bring their own food; however, this is subject to prior approval, which must be requested no later than 48 hours before the cruise. Approval will be granted only in cases of specific dietary requirements arising from medical conditions, allergies, or other special circumstances. Outside food is otherwise not permitted onboard.

Safety and Conduct:

* Prohibited items include weapons, explosives, and illegal substances.
* Guests are expected to behave responsibly and comply with crew instructions for safety.

Alcohol:

The sale and consumption of alcohol are restricted to guests over 21 years of age, in compliance with state and federal laws. Valid ID required.

Liability:

By boarding our vessel, guests acknowledge and agree that NYC Water Cruises is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the cruise. Guests also understand that the consumption of alcoholic beverages is at their own risk and that NYC Water Cruises reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest deemed unfit or intoxicated.

Photography:

By participating in our experiences, guests acknowledge and agree that our photographers may capture photographs and videos over the duration. These images and recordings may include depictions of guests, which we may use for marketing, promotional, and archival purposes. Guests consent to the use of their likeness without compensation or prior notification. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform the photographer or a member of our staff at the start of the experience. We respect your privacy and will make every effort to accommodate your request. All images and recordings will be securely stored and used in accordance with our privacy policy.

Cancellation Policy:

Once payment is received, cruises are non-refundable unless Trip Insurance is purchased at the time of booking. We are happy to reschedule your cruise date for the amount paid with 48-hour notice before your scheduled cruise. Cruises are non-refundable and non-transferable within 48 hours of your cruise. We do not compensate for no-shows or late arrivals.

Purchases made with Trip Insurance may be rescheduled or canceled up to 2 hours prior to the original departure time with a full refund, minus the cost of non-refundable Trip Insurance. Trip Insurance is not available on select cruises such as holiday, specialty, or partnership cruises, or other experiences as indicated.

Unforeseen Cancellation:

If NYC Water Cruises cancels your scheduled cruise, you will have the option to reschedule for a later available date. If the cruise for the rescheduled date is priced lower than your original booking, you will be refunded the price difference.

If you're uncertain about the next available date for your cruise, NYC Water Cruises can issue a gift card for the full amount, providing flexibility for future use. However, if you're unable to join us for a future date, NYC Water Cruises can refund your trip for the full amount. Please allow 2-5 business days for the funds to return to your original payment method.

Rescheduling Policy:

Customers can reschedule their booking anytime before 48 hours to the reservation start, free of charge, by contacting the company directly via email or phone.

Penalty: A fee may apply if the customer cancels with less than 48-hour notice.

Booking Modifications:

Customers can modify their booking by contacting the company. Downgrades are allowed before the 48-hour window, while upgrades and additions will be handled case by case.

Typically, no modification fees apply with more than 48 hours notice.
